Originally born in South Africa in 1980 and started singing at the age of six accompanied by her Grandmother on the organ. Jessica comes from a very musical background and a very large family of singers. Jessica found a love for blues, Jazz and soul music after being introduced to it by her father who sings and plays the guitar.

Jessica came to England in 1997 when she was just 17 and at the age of 19 started singing in a few bands, her voice went from strength to strength.

Now she is the lead singer for 'Detroit', a band full of phenomenal musicians with an explosive sound.

At ten years old, Steve happened accross the Dire Straights Brothers in Arms album on cassette (now a collectors item) in the glove box of the family mini metro (also a collectors item). He thought he would give it a listen and was blown away by the Knopfler sound. Ever since that pivotal moment, Steve has never looked back. Since starting to play the guitar at thirteen years old back in high school he has been in many bands from heavy rock to blues . Steve's playing style is a mixture between Gary Moore and Mark Knopfler but sometimes will add some Brian May techniqes in for good measure. Steve's influences are Mark Knopfler, Brian May, Hank Marvin, Chris Rea, Gary Moore, to name but a few.

The eighties was a fertile time for bass and didnt go unnoticed by the young Damon who lists John Taylor, Pino Palladino, Marcus Miller and Louis Johnson as his main influences. Although originally a guitarist, Damon quickly discovered that his fingers were much more suited to laying down bass grooves and fully admits that he is never happier than when slapping his Musicman Stingray or fingering his Fender Jazz. During his long break from live playing, Damon (or MrDamo123 as he is known to his online community) found a fruitful outlet on YouTube where his channel plays host to his instructional bass playalong videos.
